Inspired to do some sketchbook work.

I watched these series of documentaries on channel four, called 'Unreported World' , they must have touched me in some way, as I immediately became inspired to do some work. I looked into child abuse, missing children, mass burials (particularly looking at pictures of the tsunami etc), women in Iran who are getting stoned to death NOW and more. India, Africa, South America, Iran, THE WORLD. It just seems that so much is going on in the world that isn't spoken of, things that people would rather ignore, and pretend they don't happen; or maybe it's that there's so much that goes on they get overlooked. Personally I think we just don't want to know, the media and dare I say it, the government choose what is important and worthy of our time and thought. I guess I'm giving a voice, or an image even, to those who are unrepresented.
